This is our 1-piece conversion for the BMW E30 platform. The shaft is 3_ x .083_ DOM tube with billet aluminum plates to convert the small bolt pattern on the factory transmission and differential flanges to use larger 1310 u-joints. This shaft weighs 25lbs and since we are removing the hanger bearing, it will make the car seem more athletic and give it a smoother power transfer. We would have liked to offer an aluminum version, but for strength it would have to be 3.5_ aluminum which is too large in diameter to fit without a clearance issue. Unlike other aftermarket shafts for BMWÕs this shaft features a slider system that will let the shaft move in and out during racing and chassis flex. This shaft is now being balanced on our new 9500RPM balancer to ensure a perfectly balanced shaft. Comes complete with precision machined front and rear conversion plates and all necessary hardware for installation.
