SHORTY HEADER

Shorty headers, also known as the short tube headers, are designed to replace the factory exhaust manifolds. Unlike long tube headers, which have longer primary tubes that extend further before merging into the collector, shorty headers have a shorter primary tubes that merge more quickly. This design makes easier to install and often compatible with a wider range of vehicles and in most cases legal for California.

Shorty headers are designed to improve the flow of exhaust gases out the engine. The factory exhaust manifolds are typically restrictive, which can limit engine performance. Shorty headers, with their smoother bends are larger diameter tubes, reduce backpressure and allow exhaust gases to exit more efficiently. This improved exhaust flow can lead to increased horsepower and torque.
