This crossmember adapter bracket is designed to allow the mounting of any stock 1985-1998 GM NP205, NP208, or NP241 "short-foot" type transfer case adapter onto a stock 1973-1984 Chevy K10/K20 transmission crossmember. This adapter bracket is an essential component of the Hooker Blackheart LS/LT swap system for this vehicle application. Use of this adapter bracket will require the user to obtain and use a 1985-up stock GM 4WD truck transmission/transfer case mount (GM 15113134, Anchor 2638, or other equivalent).
