We actually have been waiting for our new 9500 rpm actual speed balancer to be able to not only bring the Carbon shafts into production, but also make sure they are the best balanced and manufactured shafts available. It will be a 3-3/8Ó carbon shaft with a special 30 spline ends (same spline as a Viper T56 output and not the standard 28 spline). This custom lightened Porsche style 930 joint is custom made with High grade aerospace grade proprietary material. We have finished destructive testing on all parts to ensure its ability to endure the punishment of this platform.
Please look at the destructive testing results below. The u-joint and flange failed at 30% beyond the rated tube specifications so we know the bond is superior. DSS tests its parts in a lab before sending them out to you.
Special Note: Rear Subframe/Cradle Lock-out kit must be installed on the vehicle prior to installing a Driveshaft Shop 1-Piece Driveshaft. Any damage to the driveshaft (or any subsequent damage) caused by failing to properly reinforce the rear cradle and limit movement will void any and all warranty provided by The Driveshaft Shop.
